Thank you for stopping by . . .
We are getting ready for another year of summer fun! Tuckahoe Village West Recreation Association is located in Henrico’s Far West End, off Lauderdale Drive. Our neighbors include the Tuckahoe Village West subdivision and the Tuckahoe Creek wetlands.
A little over 200 families enjoy TVWRA’s facilities each year. We are a very diverse group: families with children in all age groups, families with no children, retiree couples, and singles. We have several membership packages and are always looking for new members. Click here to download our 2010 membership application and click here for the childcare addendum.
Our amenities include a 6-lane, 25 meter swimming pool, a wading pool for our members aged 5 and under, two covered pavilions, ample sun decks with lounge chairs, poolside tables with umbrellas and chairs, a music system, a community grill for charcoaling your favorite dishes and snack machines. TVWRA contracts for professional pool management and has the latest chemical maintenance system for excellent water quality. We have a competitive swim team and offer certified swim lessons. We host multiple holiday cookouts and family fun nights, Saturday float nights, Ladies’ night, and several outstanding adult socials. In addition to swimming, we offer several other recreational opportunities: tennis courts, horseshoe pits, basketball court, water and land volleyball, and an open field for child and adult play. Simply put, we know how to have fun!!!!
We will have an open house on May 15, May 16 and May 22, May 23. We will be open from 1 - 4 pm to show you around. The pool will be open for swimming, weather permitting! Stop by, we are sure you will want to stay! Click here for our Open House invitation!
