Lost... and Found
Please remember to look for your misplaced items in the lost and found area at the lifeguard table (near the men's restroom). If you lost a cell phone, contact Nina at 840-4697.
Water Cooler... Litter bugs...
The water cooler is a convenience for our members to provide cold filtered water. It is not intended for children's water fights. White cups need to go into the trash cans located around the pool NOT on the ground. Members like a litter-free environment, please pick up your trash and your children's trash.

Please do not eat other members food - only eat food/beverage that you bring. We all share these refrigerators. Do not put open cans of sodas in the fridge - they turn over and make a mess.
No pennies or bent coins. Remember, neither the vendor nor TVWRA will reimburse you for lost money. If the vending machines have a sign up that they are not working or you see it is not working for others, please do not continue to feed coins into the machines.
The vendor has been on site several times. The machines cannot count pennies and will stop working if pennies are inserted. They will take more coins, but will not dispense your food/drink. Similarly, if a bent coin is forced into the coin slot, the machine cannot accept other coins.

Float Nights - Saturdays 6 - 8pm
Come join the fun! The diving well is closed to make room for fins, flippers, noodles, and floats. Please be mindful of the size of your float/tube - oversized floats/tubes will not be allowed if children can get trapped under them! The Board and/or the lifeguards can limit the size of the float if they feel it is unsafe to our membership and guests. Please remember children of all sizes and ages will be sharing the pool during this fun time - excessive rowdiness and rough play will not be tolerated.
2009 memberships still available! Interested in joining the pool contact Charlotte Staples or Nina Nolley.
Interested in joing TVWRA Tiger Sharks? If you're interested and have any questions for the 2009 season, please contact Cheri or Jeff Peterson at 740-7986.

Dust off that racquet and sign up for the 2009 TVWRA tennis ladder! We would like to have enough participants to do a men's, women's and youth ladder (We will have both a boys and girls ladder. In addition, we may also do youth age divisions to make it more competitive. However, this will depend on the number of sign-ups!). The youth ladder is for players 16 and under. Please sign up by June 20, 2009 and we will draw the initial seedings on June 21st. Sign up sheets will be located near the recreation bulletin board at the pool (by the men's restroom). Check out the Challenge Rules page for ladder rules. Email Carter Chapman if you have any questions.
Thursday night tennis - come join us each Thursday night at 6:00pm for doubles tennis. All skill levels are welcome, so don't be shy if you haven’t played in a while. Email Carter if you want to get on the weekly email list for Thursday tennis, as we sometimes have to change the day to Wednesday if there is a conflict with a swim meet.
Do you have a son or daughter who wants to learn the game of tennis? Do you need to brush up on your strokes? If so, we have a member, Jeff Peterson, who offers tennis lessons. Please see the bulletin board at the pool, for Jeff's contact information.

We had a great turnout for the Memorial Day horseshoe tournament! Please congratulate Mike Horn and Will Whitescarver when you see them for their taking home the title. We would also like to thank Greg Ambrose for putting in the beverage holder stands near the horseshoe pits, a very nice addition indeed!
We've been having a good turnout each weekend afternoon for horseshoes. Anyone who would like to pitch shoes is encouraged to join us on the hill for a few games - the more the merrier!! Also, for those members that are not aware, the horseshoes and rakes are located in the storage shed. Please see one of the guards or board members if you need them.
Since we are starting a tennis ladder, we didn't want the horseshoes to feel left out! There will be a sign-up sheet for a team horseshoe ladder as well near the recreation bulletin board at the pool. This will be for men and women age 16 and up. If we get enough interest we will have a separate men's and women's ladder. Please sign up by June 20th, 2009 and there will be a drawing on June 21st to determine teams and seedings.
Unfortunately, some of the neighborhood kids like to use the boulders by the horseshoe pits as targets for glass bottles. Although we try our best to clean up the glass, we strongly encourage parents not to let their children near the horseshoe area unless they have shoes on.
